Using Touch ID With My Eyes Only™

My Eyes Only® now supports Touch ID. Using Touch ID in MEO™ makes it faster and easier to access your encrypted personal data within MEO™.

Steps to Activate Touch ID

  • Open MEO, enter you app access password
  • Select the Tools tab at the bottom of the screen
  • Select Touch ID 
  • Use turn on the Use Touch ID toggle

That is all you need to do. The next time you launch MEO Pro you will prompted to use Touch ID.

NOTE: MEO™ Classic does not support this feature. There are no plans to enhance MEO Classic beyond bug fixes. If MEO Classic users want to use Touch ID see below for the steps to transition to MEO Pro.

How to Move From Classic to My Eyes Only®

The approach is very simple:

  • Create a Syncryption account inside MEO™ Classic if you don’t have one. Select the Sync tab to create a new Syncryption account.
  • Let it sync
  • Download MEO™ here:
  • As you configure the app and after you create a new app access password, sign into your existing Syncryption account.
  • Let it sync
  • Your data will now be in MEO™.
